Worcestershire Under 18 representative side

County win seven goal thriller
The County U 18 squad thoroughly deserved their hard earned victory yesterday over Cheshire in the ESFA national cup.  two goals from Robbie Davies (Heart of Worcester) in the first half were not enough to see Worcestershire in front at the turn because the visitors netted three times.  Were it not for an inspired performance from the Cheshire keeper, Worcestershire would have been well in front at half time.  It was end to end exciting play on the 3G at Pershore High School in the second half and Davies completed his hatrick midway through the half. With just six minutes remaining, Andy Liddel (St Augustines) volleyed home at the near post following a corner and that strike took Worcestershire through to another home tie against Merseyside in the 2nd round.
