Worcestershire U 14 Girls representative squad

Three points for the county

Worcestershire U 14 Girls travelled to Thomas Telford School last evening and took on Shropshire in a Midland Counties League fixture.  The county were by far the better side and had they taken the numerous chances they created would have won by more that the 2-1 scoreline.  Lilly Eustace (Prince Henry's) scored the first goal after a fine passing move involving seven passes down the right hand side.  That was the only goal scored in the first half and almost straight from the restart Jade Grove (De Montfort) doubled the advantage.  Numerous chances for Worcestershire went begging and when the hosts got a goal back with five minutes remaining it meant a nervous end, however Worcestershire hung on to claim all three points.  Their next fixture, again in the league is at home to Staffordshire on Monday November 24th at Littleton FC, kick off 7.00pm
