Worcestershire U 16 Boys Squad
A win and a loss last night.
At Nunnery Wood last evening Worcestershire and Shropshire went head to head in two fixtures. For the first time in Worcestershire's history the county played a 'B' team fixture and in a very entertaining game the hosts ran out 1-0 winners thanks to a wonderful strike from the edge of the penalty box by Tom Ferguson (Baxter College). The second game which was in the Midland Counties League kicked off soon after and in a very close game between two competative teams Worcestershire were unlucky to lose by three goals to two, Shropshire scoring two goals in the last five minutes to overturn a 2-1 defecit.. Worcestershires' goals came through Jordan Lymn (Evesham) and a penalty from Matt Pinder (King Charles)
