Worcestershire U 16 Boys representative squad

Shropshire prove too strong

Worcestershire Under 16's travelled to Shrewsbury last night with only eleven players due to injury and illness so the county were always going to find it hard work against their unbeaten hosts.  In the first half Shropshire had two shots on target and both found the back of the net.  Alphie Bloomer (South Bromsgrove) pulled a goal back early in the second half to give Worcestershire some hope but with the home team able to call on fresh legs they scored four more to run out winners by 6-1.  Worcestershire complete their league programme with a game against West Mids on Tuesday March 24th at Littleton FC, kick off 7.00pm
